Two little suggestions...

1. Have new forum posts optionally displayed at the top of the homepage like quicknotes.
2. Change sounds for quicknotes.
3. Hide list of online users on the homepage (optional of course)

to hide quick notes block them in account settings. as for the ideas cool

1. that's what the "jump to" box is for. you can jump to the list of the most recent new posts. It would get rather cumbersome if they were displayed at
the top like QNs.

2. what's wrong with the quick note sounds? you have the option to turn them off if you like 3. metallica girl answered that

leave the listing of users alone, it lets people know who is online
